CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER FROM THRILL JOCKEY?
Office pick ups are only offered to our premier customers-
If you are not a premier customer I am afraid we are unable to offer this service.
We have great record stores in Chicago and we can highly recommend a visit to-
Reckless, Permanent , Laurie’s Planet of Sound, Dusty Groove, Jazz Record Mart, and Dave’s Records
Premier customers are customers who order at least 100 dollars worth of items per month.
CAN I ADD AN ITEM TO MY EXISTING ORDER OR COMBINE INDIVIDUAL ORDERS?
Due to the high volume of orders and how they are processed we are unable to combine orders or add items once an order has been placed.
For our premier customers : Orders placed within one business day of each other can be combined- a coupon code will be provided for the redundant shipping to use on a future order.
Once an order is processed all sales are final. We do NOT offer refunds and or cancel orders, because you changed your mind, were stoned, or "accidently" placed the order. A refund will only be issued if the item you received is defective.
If your order is returned we will email you at the email address associated with the order. We will email you at least twice and if we do not receive a reply within 2 months of our initial email- we will cancel the order and issue your account a credit.
Sorry about the postage rates - we do not set the cost; postage is calculated by weight and the US Post Office. Shipping can get cheaper (divided per item) if you were to order more than one item -- meaning for example, double the weight doesn't necessarily double ship cost. People occasionally add items (for friends; additional titles) to take advantage of shipping rates. The website will calculate this for you as you add items
Thrill Jockey is not responsible for customs charges.
Standard shipments are marked as a gift.
REGISTERED packages, full value must be declared. It's hard to predict the behavior of the customs agent especially since we ship items to every country in the world and each one behaves a little differently. If you have special customs instructions, please put them on the comments section of your order
LP PACKAGING SPECIAL REQUEST
Any time you order with us, please feel free to state any packing requests in the order notes - ie, extra flats, extra corner protection, etc. Please be advised that this may increase the cost of shipping and therefore we may need additional payment sent for shipping.
If you want the vinyl removed from the jackets, we do that too
NOTE: Thrill Jockey is NOT responsible, for lost/damaged parcels shipped via the USPS or Royal Mail unless additional Insurance or Registered services are purchased and applied to the order in question.
Posters ship separately from LP or CD orders in a Poster Tube.
DOWNLOAD CODE FAULT
If you have problems with your download coupon- please email your full name, address, as well as the code as written on the coupon to email@example.com.
We will sort you out!
ORDERED WRONG ITEM
If you ordered the wrong item for any reason and we have yet to fully process your order, we will issue you a coupon for the full amount of your order and shipping.
Thrill Jockey can not issue refunds to orders that have been processed.
If you ordered the wrong item because you were stoned, drunk, or playing with your phone- Have a good laugh about it, and enjoy the record!
