The song's delicious groove set by drummer John Jeffrey is buoyed by Ripley Johnson’s guitar lines, dancing with the elegant pedal steel work of Barry Walker. Johnson's laid-back vocals glide alongside Sanae Yamada’s, together floating above the rhythmic bed, landing on a juicy, psychedelic, carpet of wah-wah. Joyous, transportive and irresistible.

Following expansive collaborations with similarly adventurous artists including Ryley Walker, Thor Harris (Swans), The Body, Mary Lattimore, Olivia Block and many more, Flowers in the Spring strips the group’s music back to its most pure and potent form. The album's vital, hypnagogic sonics are underpinned by the ever-present thrum of the drone - the mystic life-force feeding each piece from towering amplifier worship to gelid ambience.

Alongside the announcement, Wrekmeister Harmonies share the album's colossal title track. “Flowers In The Spring” emerges from fizzing distortion, the band's JR Robinson hewing monolithic slabs of drone from the rock face. Twirling electronics and rippling overtones push up through the fissures like the first signs of life emerging after winter's deep freeze.

Jules Reidy is an entire musical cosmos unto themselves. One of the most visionary artists working in Berlin – and indeed anywhere right now, Reidy’s breathtaking recordings and magnetic performances offer a truly futuristic, singular vision of guitar music. Their forthcoming new album Ghost/Spirit presents another major leap forward, compiling some of their most absorbing and affecting music to date. The songs convey an astral sense of yearning and wonder, expressed in fractal guitar figures, ethereal vocal vapors and rippling microtones.

Alongside the announcement, Reidy has also shared new single "Every Day There's a Sunset". Embodying the album's narrative, "Every Day There's a Sunset" invokes dense flurries of overwhelming emotion, with Reidy's spiralling guitars and aching vocals ascending skyward, bolstered by juddering electronics and rumbling bass samples from Andreas Dzialocha, Reidy’s collaborator in new duo Sun Kit.

Led by guitarist/vocalist Ripley Johnson (Wooden Shjips / Moon Duo), the live band brings together some of the finest players in contemporary rock: keyboardist Paul Hasenberg, pedal steel player Rick Pedrosa, bassist Aaron Wilford and drummer John Jeffrey. The group's dynamic performances are expansive, life affirming, cosmic versions of Rose City Band's country-rock songs. Gorgeous guitar solos are paired with exceptional pedal steel playing, dancing together with the the irresistible grooves delivered by showman and keyboardist Hasenberg.

Brueder Selke & Midori Hirano are pillars of Berlin’s new music community, globally lauded composers who each share a background in classical tradition while practicing at the cutting edge of modern music. Following a series of live collaborations, the group now announce their debut collaborative album Split Scale, due out January 24th, 2025.

Starting with the simplistic premise of exploring the western scale from beginning to end, Split Scale sees the group craft a suite of sublime, synaesthetic soundscapes and cinematic movements. Alongside the album announcement, the group share sublime, minimalist new single “Scale F”. Opening with long brush strokes of ethereal strings embellished with warm electronic thrum, single piano notes glimmer in the darkness like far-off constellations, building slowly into a celestial melody as the group skilfully shape abstract washes of color and texture into a distinctive form.
